Ever opened your closet and felt instantly overwhelmed? You’re not alone. The key is to take it slow—start small and celebrate progress by tackling just one category at a time.
We’ll guide you through turning the chaos into a beautifully organized space in just five days.
Keep in mind, true organization starts by taking everything out—yes, everything. It may look messier at first, but that’s where the transformation begins. The good news? You’ll only focus on one category each day, making the process simple and manageable. As i have mentioned in my book also start decluttering
and organising small items first heading towards big items.

Day 1: Accessories
You’re in the home stretch—focus on
containing and labeling.
● Gather all jewelry, scarves, belts, ties,
and hats together.
● Sort by type and let go of items you
no longer wear.
● Use lined trays or a jewelry box to
neatly store jewelry in drawers.
● File fold and color-code scarves in
labeled bins.
● Roll belts and ties, sort by color, and
organize them in divided trays.

Day 2: Handbags
Your bags deserve to be seen, not hidden
away.
● Gather all your handbags, big and
small, in one place.
● Consider donating or consigning
pieces you no longer use.
● If space allows, dedicate shelves to
display larger bags.
● Keep them structured using purse
stuffers or tissue-filled dust bags.
● Use dividers to neatly store smaller
bags and clutches.

Day 3: Shoes
Time to bring order to your shoe collection.
● Take out all your shoes and group
them by type.
● Edit ruthlessly—keep your favorites,
let go of duplicates.
● Short on space? Add modular or
custom shelving.
● Arrange by category and color for a
clean, visual layout.
● Store off-season pairs in bins under
the bed or elsewhere.

Day 4: Folded Clothes
Today, focus on drawers and shelves—time
to master the art of folding.
● Empty drawers and sort items by
category.
● Use file folding for a clear,
easy-to-see layout.
● Fold to fit drawer height and arrange
items upright in rows.
● Color-code for an extra polished look.
● Add drawer dividers to keep
everything neatly in place.

Day 5: Hanging Clothes
Start by tackling everything on your closet
rod.
● Take everything out and group similar
items together.
● Be ruthless—if it doesn’t fit or hasn’t
been worn in years, let it go.
● Stuck on decisions? Call a friend for a
quick reality check.
● Hang items back by category, and
color-code within each group for a
cleaner look.
● Use hanger clips for skirts and pants
to keep everything aligned and neat.
